Analysts predict Apple will begin offering health insurance in 2024 using its Apple Watch health data.

Apple is likely to enter U.S. health insurance through a partnership with a major insurer, according to CCS Insight's analysis.

With Apple Watch, people can already monitor blood pressure, blood oxygen levels, ECG readings, and body temperature.

By accessing such rich data, analysts believe the company will be able to cut consumer insurance costs.

CCS Insight's chief analyst Ben Wood said, "They are in a great position.". Apple Watch offers a wealth of personal health data.

 By joining some of the dots together, Apple Watch can become a very competitive health insurance player and that could have a significant impact on the US healthcare market."
